Accolades

I have been taking my dog, Tanner to Dogs Day Inn for the last 5 years for both daycare and overnight boarding. Tanner is always happy to enter and is always tired when he leaves. Dogs Day Inn is a safe, fun and comfortable place for Tanner to play and sleep and I always know he is well cared for when I drop him off.  Amanda and Jesse are incredibly professional and very caring- as are the rest of the staff, and I love knowing they are always around. I would never consider bringing Tanner anywhere else.” ~Denise D.

For the past seven years, Kurry my German Shepherd has gone to “doggie day care” at Dogs Day Inn 3 times a week and still loves it! Each time I bring her, I feel like I’m leaving her with family and that makes me feel good! Thru the years, I’ve had many calls alerting me to confers which have been very helpful. It has reinforced my comfort and confidence in the care that Dogs Day Inn provides. ~Barb M.

We are so very glad to have dogs Day Inn in our lives providing the best care ever in Chicago!!  My little girl (Gabrielle “Gabi” Coco Chanel, Jr.) has been frequently visiting Dogs Day Inn for over 2 years.  Gabi’s cousin, Coco, also was cared for by DDI for years, in fact was one of the very first clients.

“DDI provides a loving, caring and very safe home-type day care and extraordinary boarding, truly unique in Chicago.  There is plenty of exercise and play with like-type doggies (small & larger / less-to-more active).

Gabi loves visiting her friends and so do I, we highly recommend Dogs Day Inn!” ~Julie H.

I’ve been completely happy with Dogs Day Inn for about five years now. We board our two dogs here during vacations numerous times a year and have never had any problems. When we drop the dogs off, they excitedly run inside and off to the back – they obviously love it here. We’ve left them for up to two weeks during long trips, and they’re always happy, healthy and in great shape when we return. Stinky, yes, but safe, happy and tired.  The peace of mind we get here is so worth it.

Jesse and Amanda are both wonderful and have taken the time to get to know us and our dogs.”  ~Ellen K.

My girlfriend and I have been bringing in our Lab Hank for over a year now.  Initially when we got hank, we checked out a few daycares around the area.  After the introductions and tours, DDI just felt like the right place.  Hank absolutely loves going there and always comes back exhausted.  Amanda, Jesse and crew do a great job of taking care of all the dogs and truly do care about their well being.  We have not been able to take Hank much this year since we have moved away from the neighborhood, but we still drive there from time to time to give him a fun filled day.  Thank you Dogs Day INN! ~Kaushai R.

We love dogs day inn and we love amanda and jesse.

Our pugs have been going here for years and they always come home happy and tired. we’ve never had our dogs come home with even a scratch and everyone is great about making sure they play hard in a safe environment. they even make sure our girl pug spends some playtime in the back when she would much prefer to stay up front in one of the chairs all day long.

What’s more, they accommodate us if we’re running late, they are great about making sure the dogs gets all of their different meds when they are boarding and jesse, amanda and the staff know the personality of each dog so well that they make sure to pay special attention to their certain needs.

Sure, sometimes the pugs come home smelling more “doggy” when they are there for daycare or boarding but i could care less — to me, that’s a clear sign it was a good day. not to mention, i know they’re safe and in good hands and that is invaluable. ~Kelly G.

Managers (Amanda and her husband) are so great, caring and flexible.  They really make the experience.  My little dog is a little shy and they are good about balancing her time in the big play room, outside and up front in the small dog area.  Highly recommended– we’ve tried other places for boarding (Pooch and Citizen Canine) and we like this much better. ~ Karin P.
